The day I got laid off was the day I realized I had been settling for a life that wasn’t fully mine.
What surprised me most wasn’t the fear.
It was the relief.
Relief that I finally had space to stop and ask myself what I actually wanted.
Relief that I no longer had to keep moving through a life that looked right on the outside but didn’t fully feel like mine on the inside.
